Diane Santiago, 59, a resident of Swoyersville, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 08, 2021, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Her loving husband is Hali Santiago. Together, Hali and Diane celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on September 22nd.
Born on August 03, 1962, in West Wyoming, Diane was the daughter to the late Frank and Jean (Cheskiewicz) Brennan.
Diane was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1980, and was employed for 20 years as a computer operator for Tobyhanna Army Depot.
Diane was a lover of life. She enjoyed going to the casino; reading with a cup of coffee; doing diamond paintings to give as gifts; baking; and family parties. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother to her two children, and fiercely loved her dog, Buster. Diane loved being a grandmother to her granddaughter, Jeanevieve, and her fur grandbabies, Lola and Lincoln.
In addition to her parents, Frank and Jean Brennan, Diane was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Brennan; her mother-in-law, Ana-Iris Ramos Santiago; and brother-in-law, Micheline Chelo Santiago.
In addition to her husband, Hali, Diane is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Huntsinger and her husband, Devin; and Hali J. Santiago and her partner, Joseph Zoffel; her sister, Susan Shafer and her husband, Robert; her brother, Frank Brennan and his wife, Nancy; her sister, Jean Ann Pizano and her husband, David; her brother, Mark Brennan and his wife, Bonnie; her father-in-law, Edith Santiago Mercado; her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Eddie, Lizzette, and Dario; her granddaughter, Jeanevieve Huntsinger; her close family friends, Diane Gigantelli and Joseph Leonard; her beloved dog, Buster; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be holding a private ceremony.
